The 10th Annual Reaching Forward South Conference For Library Support Staff will be held on September 28-29, 2006 at the Northfield Inn in Springfield. Sharon Wiseman, Director of Staff Development at the Chicago Public Library, will deliver the keynote address on “Putting Your Best Foot Forward: Appreciation is the Key to Success.” Registration fee: Thursday - $40, Friday - $60, both days - $85. The Fourth International Conference On The Book will be held at Emerson College in Boston October 20-22, 2006. The conference will address a range of critically important themes relating to the book.
