The Illinois Department of Commerce and Community Affairs (DCCA) is offering a series of five Community Issues Education satellite workshops during the spring of 2000. The first workshop is at LTLS on

Partnerships of concerned citizens have come together to improve their local schools and help children learn more are sharing ideas through a unique service from the U.S.Dept. of Education: the Satellite Town Meeting. LTLS Public Library Reciprocal Borrowing Survey to be conducted January-June, 2000.
In accordance with the provisions of the LTLS Reciprocal Access Policy, Lincoln Trail Libraries System is surveying the in-person reciprocal borrowing activity of all public libraries in the system during the six-month period from January through June 2000. Survey forms have been distributed to all LTLS public libraries. If you have questions about the survey, or about the general Reciprocal Access Policy guidelines regarding public library reciprocal borrowing, please contact Brenda Pacey (bpacey@ltnet.ltls.org or
extension 211). The Policy is found online at the LTLS website (http:/www.ltls.org/Policies/ResourceAccess041795.html) and is included in the Guide to System Services and Policies notebook available in each library.

FY99 Annual Profile Summary forms have recently been distributed to all Lincoln Trail Libraries System Full and Developmental Libraries. One completed copy of this annual program summaryand membership eligibility review form should be returned to LTLS by February 18, 2000.
