Lian Ruan, Director and Head Librarian of the Illinois Fire Service Institute Library is a recipient of the 2003 Chancellor's Academic Professional Excellence Award, presented by University of Illinois Chancellor Nancy Cantor, in a ceremony on April 3, 2003.
