MEDIA MALL DOWNTIME

We have been notified that the Media Mall product will be unavailable on Thursday, December 1, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. central time, due to scheduled maintenance. Patrons who try to access Media Mall during this time will see a message advising them to try later.

E-RESERVES

Are you a school or academic library that would like to set up 24x7 access to electronic reserve materials? Would you like to give your students access to e-reserves through your web page? If so, SirsiDynix is partnering with DocuTek and their E-Res product to help you make this possible. If you are interested in seeing a demonstration of this product, please email Pat Boze, pboze@lincolntrail.info, to arrange this.

CODI 2005

Jan Ison, Pat Boze, and Donna Schaal from LTLS and Nanette Wargo from Champaign Public Library attended the CODI (Customers of Dynix, Inc.) 2005 conference in Minneapolis November 6-9. Most of the sessions focused on the new Horizon 8.0 product. This is a total re-write of the Horizon staff interface and will be available for general release either in the summer or fall of 2006. A full review of the conference will be provided in the next LINC Update. Watch for details.
