MEDIA MALL LINK ADDED TO ALL LIBRARY LINCPACS

On October 3, an additional tab was added to all LINCPACs, pointing to the Media Mall website (http://www.mymediamall.net).  The tab is called Media Mall.  When patrons link to this site, they are able to check out and download e-books and audiobooks, using their LINC barcode and pin number.

If your library filters by url, you will need to allow access to the Media Mall website (http://www.mymediamall.net) so this link will work.

HORIZON 8.0 BETA PROCESS

Lincoln Trail has been accepted to be a member of the group of libraries doing initial testing of Horizon 8.0.  Horizon 8.0 is only available in a test environment at the present time, but we have begun looking at the product and will be given access to a test database and test server in Utah sometime this week.  This gives us the opportunity to provide input on the functionality of this product while it is still in its early stages of development.

We need help from front-line library staff to can test this product and provide input back to SirsiDynix.  If you are interested or have staff who might be able to help, please send an email to: pboze@lincolntrail.info
