ISBN RE-DIRECTED SEARCHES

If you are working with Baker & Taylor to set up Title Source in your library and you want to check LINC before ordering a title, there is a search string that can be used to do a quick search in LINCPac from Title Source. Here is the string that can be used to query LINCPac:

http://lincpac.lincolntrail.info:8080/ipac20/ipac.jsp?&profile=xxx&index=ISBNEX&term=
(where xxx is your library's agency code)

When configured correctly in your Title Source account, this search string executes a search and finds the isbn of the bib record in LINC. You can then look at the copies to see if your library already owns the item.

2005 - 122 CODI REGISTRATION
If you are interested in sending staff to CODI (Customers of Dynix Inc. Conference), please contact Pat Boze (pboze@lincolntrail.info) for registration information. The conference will be held November 7, 8, & 9 in Minneapolis, MN. The cost of the conference is $425 plus hotel and travel. Libraries will need to pay for all costs to attend this event.
