MYMEDIAMALL UPDATE

In September, the MyMediaMall website will change slightly and there will be an added enhancement - about 70 downloadable video titles will be available for patrons to check out. The exact date for this change hasn’t been announced but we will post the date as soon as it’s available.

Kelly Strom, Champaign Public Library, is currently on the collection development committee of MyMediaMall and is assisting in the selection of the video titles.

SPANISH LINCPAC

We’ve set the Spanish LINCPac up for 6 libraries so far. If you are interested in having one for your library, please contact Pat Boze, pboze@lincolntrail.info.

PRINTING TRANSIT, HOLD SLIPS

Do you currently use a receipt printer or are you interested in using a receipt printer? If so, we can set Horizon so it will print out only transit/hold slips at checkin and these slips can then be taped to the LTLS Delivery gold bands. This will cut down on the amount of writing you have to do and the amount of "deciphering" of the writing that delivery staff have to do. Please contact the LTLS automation department if you are interested in this. There is no cost for the setup but receipt printers have to be purchased if you don’t already own one.

LINC MILESTONE

Kansas Public Library staff began adding holdings to LINC on August 23. Paris Public Library will begin adding holdings to LINC on August 30. The status of these libraries' items will be "Owned" (not "On Shelf") until they are ready to come online with LINC.

SCHOOL DELIVERIES

They’re back! LTLS deliveries to all schools began on August 28 and are now able to place and fill holds.
