| 2006 - 034 | LINC FY2007 DRAFT COSTS |
The FY2007 draft cost sheets
for LINC libraries have been posted at: An email was sent to all LINC Directors Group representatives asking them to review data in these cost sheets and submit questions to Pat Boze, pboze@lincolntrail.info. A final version of the cost sheets will be posted by May 1.
| 2006 - 035 | BTYPE REDUCTIONS |
As part of the ongoing process of maintaining the Horizon database, we have begun to ask library directors to help clean up borrower type codes. You may receive an email from Helen Neal, hneal@lincolntrail.info, asking permission to delete your library’s borrower type codes that have no patrons assigned to them. We will only delete codes that you determine you will not need in the future. We have already deleted 112 btypes that have no patrons assigned to them. Thanks for helping us "reduce the clutter."
| 2006 - 036 | LINCPAC EN ESPANOL? |
We are setting up a Spanish version of LINCPAC. If you are a library with a LINCPac account and would like a one set up for your library, please email Pat Boze, pboze@lincolntrail.info.
| 2006 - 037 | DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN IM (AOL Instant Message) US? |
If you want a quick way to ask a question or convey some brief information and you use AOL Instant Message, just IM us. Go to the LTLS web site (http://www.ltls.org/staffdir.html) to find screen names for LTLS staff and see if we are online or not. We want to IM with you!
| 2006 - 038 | NEW REPORTS IN HORIZON WEBREPORTER |
In the new version of WebReporter (version 1.4v.b4b), there are some new reports available. Give them a try and let us know what you think (email comments to Pat Boze, pboze@lincolntrail.info) Under Folder Shared Reports>Cataloging Under Folder Shared Reports>Circulation>Borrowers Under Folder Shared Reports>Circulation>Items
| 2006 - 039 | OCLC LOANS TO LINC LIBRARIES |
When you receive an OCLC interlibrary loan request from a LINC library member, remember to use the gold bands (not the ILDS routing labels) for libraries in the system. ILDS routing labels indicate that the item should be delivered to the statewide courier system instead of within Lincoln Trail by the system’s delivery vans. |
