LINC MEETINGS

LINC Policy Council – January 18, 1:30 p.m.

2006 - 008 HORIZON 7.4, LINCPAC 4.1 UPGRADE

Due to new problems reported by SirsiDynix, we are reconsidering the Horizon/LINCPac upgrade originally planned for February 7. A decision about this upgrade will be made this week, and information will be sent to all LINC Directors at that time.

IDENTIFICATION OF ITEMS

Recently, libraries have raised concerns because some materials that come to their library do not have property stamps, easily-located barcodes, or spine labels/call numbers. Please remember to adequately identify your materials so they may be returned to their correct home.

2006 - 010
E-RATE UPDATE

The application period for next fiscal year closes on Thursday, February 16. Applicants are urged to submit their applications as quickly as possible. As of January 10, the Schools and Libraries Division reported that only five percent of the projected applications have been received. Review of some of these applications has begun.
