Background

On Dynix Classic, individual libraries could turn on or turn off the sending of expired hold notices (email or print).   Currently, 2/3 of the LINC libraries send out expired hold notices.

 

In Horizon, sending out expired hold notices is a systemwide setting. 

 

Policy

In Horizon, expired hold notices will be set to send for the entire system.
