Lincoln Trail Libraries System is pleased to announce an exciting and thought-provoking conference, the Symposium on the Future of Integrated Library Systems. Please join us on September 13-15, 2007 as we listen and respond to nationally-recognized speakers discussing the many challenges and changes within the Integrated Library System landscape and learn what this means for the future.

The Symposium will feature these and other speakers:

Attendees may register for any and all of these events:

•General Conference, Thursday-Friday afternoon, meals included
•Library Futures Speaker and Dinner, Friday evening, meal included
•Trustee/Governing Officials Symposium, Saturday morning, meals included

Saturday's session is specifically geared to library trustees and governing officials. This morning-only session will summarize content reviewed at the general Symposium event and provide in-depth tools for planning and decision-making as libraries begin to search for a new integrated library system.

Blocks of hotel rooms have been reserved at two Champaign hotels for conference attendees:

Hawthorn Suites, Ltd. ($89.00 per night + tax)

The Champaign community is the multi-cultural home of the University of Illinois and is easily accessible for travelers. Willard Airport offers convenient access for flyers and Amtrak provides service to Chicago and southern Illinois.
