Reference Only: This class is designed specifically for reference staff. The class will consist of:

• Discussion of Login/Logout procedures and security
• Horizon navigation
• Searching (including Boolean searching)
• Requests/Holds
• Item Status Changes

The length of the class will be 2 1/2 hours.

Circulation Only: This class is designed specifically for circulation staff. The class will consist of:

• Discussion of Login/Logout procedures and security
• Horizon navigation
• Searching (including Boolean searching)
• Patrons
• CKO
• CKI
• Blocks
• Requests/Holds
• Item Status Changes
• Notices and Overdues

The length of the class will be 4 hours.

Circulation Plus: This class is designed specifically for circulation staff who also add holdings into the cataloging module.

• Discussion of Login/Logout procedures and security
• Horizon navigation
• Searching (including Boolean searching)
• Patrons
• CKO
• CKI
• Blocks
• Requests/Holds
• Item Status Changes
• Notices and Overdues
• Adding/Deleting Holdings

The length of the class will be 4 1/2 hours.

Serials I: This class is designed specifically for staff who add serial holdings through the serials module.

• Discussion of Login/Logout procedures and security
• Horizon navigation
• Searching (including Boolean searching)
• CKI of Serial Items

The length of the class will be 2 1/2 hours.

Serials II: This class is designed specifically for staff who need advanced skills within the Serials module. Pre-requisite: Serials I.

• Copy Records
• Publication patterns
• Summary of holdings
• Claims
• Vendor tables

The length of the class will be 3 hours.

Cataloging: This class is designed specifically for cataloging staff members from the Cataloging Centers only: CHN, URN, CRN, and LTN.

-Discussion of Login/Logout procedures and security

-Importing files from OCLC (loading records into LINC)

-MARC Editor

-Navigation of the MARC Editor

-Authority

-Merging Records

-New bibliographic records
