Our Changing Community

One of the most important roles of a library trustee is to represent the total community and by being a link between that community and the library. It is a difficult task and one that requires trustees to think beyond an individual’s comfort level. There are many different interests, concerns and social and economic levels that must be considered when thinking about the community. This workshop will focus on how to be an inclusive trustee, and think about those many diverse groups in your community.
