Join Illinois librarians for an idea swap and get geared up for Teen Read Week (Oct. 17-23). Featured speakers will include Amy Alessio of Shaumburg Township District Library and Penny Blubaugh of Eisenhower Public Library District who will discuss materials and successful programs. Share your ideas and find out what librarians around the state are doing to celebrate Teen Read Week. Teen Read Week was designed to get teens excited about reading. This year's theme, “It's Alive @ your library,” will focus on horror and science fiction.
