Many children's librarians find their way into children's services by chance, and they may not have had formal education in working with children. UIUC Professor Carla Moeller will provide an overview of child development and address questions on selecting age appropriate materials, planning programs, and just plain working with kids. This is a great program to refresh your memory or to gain exposure to child development information.
