Peggy Barber and Linda Wallace
of Library Communications Strategies Inc. will present a program on
what everyone on your staff needs to know
about marketing, how it relates to good customer service, and his/her
role. They will introduce basic marketing principles with emphasis on
promoting good two-way communication between the library and its key
audiences. Topics will include strategies and techniques for delivering
the library message, word-of-mouth marketing, how to handle tough questions,
the “80-20” rule, and other tips for building the library’s “sales
force.” |
