Ethics Act Resolution
Form
of Compliance:
LTLS
must adopt in the form of a Resolution because we do not have the power to
adopt Ordinances.
Schedule:
Must
adopt resolution by May 19, 2004.
Draft:
The
draft presented uses the Attorney General¹s Model Ethics Ordinance.
The
draft includes all Articles, including 2 ³optional² Articles. Either or both of these will be removed
if the Committee decides not to include them.
The
Draft Model Ordinance has been modified as follows:
-Customization to insert ³Lincoln Trail Libraries System²,
³Board of Directors² and ³Executive Director² in place of generic terms in the
model.
-Revised the 5th ³Whereas² clause on page 1 per
suggestion from DLS attorney.

must determine if we wish to include these articles or not.
