Founded in 1966, Lincoln Trail Libraries System had
headquarters in Champaign, IL, There were 9 multitype Library
Systems cooperating to provide vital services to the citizens of Illinois.
In 2011 the 9 systems were reorganized into 2 systems, IHLS and RAILS. System funding is provided by the Office of Secretary of State and
the State Librarian Jesse White.
